fan of VCB and my vent is that my husband stole the good computer this morning and is making me use the crappy one :( grrr! and my son just found a little pistol toy and it is the most irritating POP noise ever!!! oh and final vent is that i am entering this giveaway as the first comment so guaranteed to not win as random.org has never chose the first number that i am aware of! lol

ReplyDelete1. My husband was the one who wanted to baptize our baby NOW instead of in a few months when we have our own church home, and he wanted to do it at his dad's church in Spanish, which I don't speak. Now he's leaving everything up to me, but getting mad at all my plans!
2. I do not get paid enough to do my job and work overnight, nor do they give us enough support to actually do our jobs well on my shift.
3. Our basement needs to be completely refinished, even though we bought the house because it was refinished. And our bathroom needs to be completely redone, even though the previous owners had just redone it. Lesson learned: the previous owners sucked at redoing things. Also, I don't want to redo things because I want to move, but we can't move until we redo things. Boo.
On the plus side, it's my birthday next week! Here's hoping something special comes my way...
I also forgot to mention that I'm a VCB fan...because working overnight has me dying!

ReplyDeletei'm mama to an almost 7mth old, and aunt to a 3.5yr boy, 6yr girl, and 18mth girl. my sis and nephew are in transition to a new home, so he's been staying between here and my mom's while my sis starts her new job and gets settled into her new place. the vent part is, this kid is an only child and has spent the last year and a half VERY close to his mom, so it's nearly impossible for me to do anything without him being attached to me. if i try to do anything with my boy, then my nephew gets extremely jealous. i can't leave them together for a second or my nephew tries to do something to my boy (the other day he wanted to ride him like a horse). did i mention that my boy is so out of sorts that he hasn't been napping well? or that they were both awake by 5:45 this morning? or that i have sleep problems so i'm so exhausted i feel like losing my mind??
on the positive side...he's going to his nana's today for the weekend, so i get the weekend to spend with my little man and my main man, and try to get our lives back in order...*sigh*
end vent :)

ReplyDeleteOK, I am really frustrated with my husband. I don't ever feel like he helps out enough around the house. He says he is helping but it's just lip service. I still have to ask him directly to do something. I really wish he would take the initiative to be helpful and that I wouldn't have to give him exact step-by-step instructions. He lives here too, he should be able to handle it!
I am a fan and the only thing I have to vent about is no mail Monday which means I won't get the Ergo I got on baby steals until Tuesday. ;)

ReplyDeleteAgree with Aimee. My hubby never helps around the house. I'm a stay at home mom of a 2yr old boy and a set of twin girls who are 5months old. I run all day doing feedings,diaper changes,snakes,lunch,laundry..ect and when he gets home I ask for some help picking up the house its "I have worked all day u do it,What u been doing? Watching tv?" By the time he gets home kids are close to going to bed if not already in bed and I have food waiting for him. It be nice if he could help just a little bit. ughh some men!! lol thanks for letting me vent.
PS. Could it plz stop raining so my son can go outside instead of being in the house making mommy go nuts :) Thanks!!

ReplyDeletemy spouse tries to put on a macho show and doesn't tell his doctor details of how sick he is, or if he DOES bother to say something, he follows it with a likely explanation so that his freaking gallbladder nearly killed him because for YEARS he'd say "i have this pain, but I moved furniture and i think I pulled something" or other such nonesense. YOU CAN'T GET HELP IF YOU MAKE IT SOUND LIKE YOU DON'T NEED IT.
Now we get to go spend day 3 back up in the hospital with him and I just want him to be more upfront about his health, dangit.
I'm of course a fan also :) Not that much to really vent about other than my 4 yrs old refuses to get dress and we have to go do some shopping today . Then it's my oldest ds's birthday next week and he wants to invite 2 friends to his b-day but of course we're not aloud to do that at his school , we have to invite the whole class which we cannot afford . Plus I feel like shopping but really cannot afford it :) Guess that's life ! Thanks for the giveaway :)

ReplyDeleteThen, I'll start my rant. LOL. I'm irritated because my mother-in-law has not called me to come clean her house. This is how I make a few extra dollars. My daughter's 4th birthday is less than 2 weeks away and we're so broke we can't pay attention.
I feel like a crappy mom because I know she deserves a much nicer party than what I can give her. She's such a sweet girl. It's been bothering me for weeks that we're not going in a place to do what we'd planned for her. I just want to scream.
i'm a BIG fan on facebook, i don't have anything to vent about yet cause i just woke up. hopefully i won't be sorry that i squandered this opportunity LOL

ReplyDeleteMy baby was up twice last night and then woke up at 6:20 for the day because her diaper leaked and she was soaked (darn diaper) then my son woke up and I couldn't get either back to sleep. Well son fell back asleep but baby is up and she is a bit cranky. Oh and did I mention she threw up on me and her right after hubby left for work? And ds has been snoring all night because he has a stuffy nose so he may be getting another head cold. He shared the last one and gosh being preggers with a head cold sucks!I just want a nap but there is no way I will be getting one:(
I was away with the girls a lot over the summer so I had things I wanted to watch saved up on the dvr. I was really lloking forward to catching up on them while sewing cloth wipes for the baby and getting started on the family Christmas gifts at night after the girls were in bed. Somehow my husband managed to erase ALL of them, as well as the shows that I had saved for my older daughter when I wasbusy with the baby and needed 20 minutes. Of course his are still there!

ReplyDeleteMy vent: I'll be returning to work in January and have been trying to take a required course (I'm a nurse) for the past 2 years. The local college cancelled it last January when I had already enrolled, and I wasn't able to take it this year since my daughter was just born. I really don't want to do it this coming January bc it will already be a huge transition for us (daughter in daycare & me back to work, hubby working long hours). So I'm trying to find an online version, but every college seems to run a slightly different course program! AND neither my manager or our educator has been any help or able to tell me where I can find this damn course online. I think since it's a required course for work, they should know!!!!
OK, I feel better now!
Tomorrow is the 4th anniversary of my mom and sons death and this is the first year we have our new daughter, so I'm worried and stressed about how we will spend the day tomorrow. Usually were a wreck but now having our little girl, we really need to find another way of dealing with it. It just sucks all around. :( !
ReplyDeleteI love my children. I have 4 of them, 7,4,2 and 6 weeks. I am so tired of stupid people asking me stupid random questions. No, my 4 year old and 2 year old aren't twins. Yes I know the 2 yo is big. Yes, I am aware I have a baby in the sling. Please do not touch her. I don't know if we are done having kids, would you like to give me your phone number and I can call and tell you the final verdict or maybe ask for pointers? Grrrrr, whoever said that there is no such thing as a stupid question obviously did not meet most of the world's population. That's my vent for today. Oh and those have all been said to me this week.

My vent is I don't get a 3 day weekend and I really need it. I am mommy to 4 kids (5.5 years old 3 year old twins and a 13 month old) and I babysit 3 kids 5 years old 4 years old and a 2 year old... My kids have been sick and I am not getting sleep :(

My two year old daughter has been battling a severe double ear infection for a month. Two rounds of antibiotics to clear it up, then on the last day of the antibiotic she got strep throat! A month of antibiotics later, we are getting tubes put into her ears on Tuesday. :( So I have already lost one child in 2005, I am so nervous for this procedure because she has to be knocked out. I express my concerns to the anesthesiologist, his reply is well there is the possibility that she could die from the gas. You know what? There are some doctors who need a MUCH better bedside manner for sensitive issues like this! Whether I win or not, I just needed to vent this because surely SOMEONE has to understand EXACTLY how I am feeling right now!!! I want to pull my hair out, jump up and down, cry, throw a fit and scream to the top of my lungs! I'm a big ball of messiness right now!
